Harvey’s Blog
Do you ever feel anxious, stuck, overloaded, or like a dark cloud is looming over you? Do your relationships feel chaotic or confusing?
Everyone wants to have mental health, but what does that really mean? Where do you start and how do you keep up with it?
In this blog, I will open conversations and answer questions related to mental health on a variety of topics. Wellness matters ranging from breath work and mindfulness meditation to managing boundaries, trauma, and mood issues will be discussed from a practical and educational framework.
Calling upon my expertise in the field of mental health, I will discuss concepts from a science-based, neurobiological basis, with accessible language and a compassionate perspective.
The experiences I have encountered in my 16 years working in the field of psychology have been fascinating, some jaw dropping, and vastly different. I have worked in a prison, a forensic hospital, a veteran hospital, a residential treatment home, end of life nursing facilities, and over 9 years in my current community private practice.
Regardless of setting or issue, I absolutely love what I do!
Helping others find wellness in their life and relationships is not only my greatest passion, but is my greatest honor.
